Districts as Export Hubs (DEH) Initiative
Institutional support to promote exports at the district level: identification of export-potential products and services, District Export Action Plans, addressing infrastructure and logistics gaps, and facilitation of a grassroots trade ecosystem. Convergence with other export schemes (e.g. MAI, TIES) for support.
Eligibility
- Exporters and producers located in participating districts
- MSMEs and local artisans/producers of identified export products
- Must hold a valid IEC (Import Export Code) to export
How to apply
Implemented by DGFT in partnership with State governments through State Export Promotion Committees (SEPC) and District Export Promotion Committees (DEPC). Each district prepares a District Export Action Plan identifying export-ready products/services and addressing local bottlenecks. Exporters engage via the district/state committees and DGFT's regional offices.
