Towns of Export Excellence (TEE)
Selected towns notified as Towns of Export Excellence (e.g. Faridabad, Moradabad, Mirzapur, Varanasi added under FTP 2023) receive priority access to export promotion funds under the MAI scheme and benefit from Common Service Provider (CSP) support under the EPCG Scheme, to strengthen the local export cluster.

- Exporters and industry clusters located in notified Towns of Export Excellence
- Recognised Association of the town
- Must hold a valid IEC (Import Export Code) to export

Towns producing and exporting goods above a threshold value in identified sectors are notified as Towns of Export Excellence by DGFT under FTP 2023. Recognised industry clusters and their exporters access benefits through EPCs and DGFT; new towns are designated by notification.
